The piece

The most considered piece in the collection. Chinchilla at the shoulders and chest, worked in banded rows, over a stretch leather base cut like a corset at the waist. Rare material. Exact structure.

The materials
Chinchilla
The densest and softest of all furs, and the most delicate to work. Skins are small, so every piece is assembled from many, matched one against the next.
Stretch leather
Leather with a measure of give, cut to follow the body closely and move with it.
How it is made

01 · The conversation. Every piece begins with its wearer. Size, fit and finish are agreed before anything is cut.

02 · The selection. Skins and leathers are chosen and matched by hand for colour, density and direction.

03 · Cut and construction. The pattern is laid out on the block. Each panel is cut, joined and shaped by hand at the atelier.

04 · Lining and final press. The piece is lined, finished and pressed. Then inspected, one last time, before it leaves the house.
